Event Introduction |
In the digital generation, Tsun-shing Cheng’s unwavering commitment to the pursuit of silver halide photography reflects his profound reverence for traditional craftsmanship. In this event, Tsun-shing Cheng’s collaborator—Hsu Yu-Hsiang, will share their invaluable insights into the meticulous processes of silver halide photography practiced in their studio. From exposure and development to printing, each pivotal step will be examined in detail, accompanied by an analysis of how these processes shape the final artistic expression.
Hsu Yu-Hsiang will also lead attendees through an in-depth exploration of the 70 exhibited color photographs, uncovering the emotional and aesthetic dimensions conveyed in these works and the narratives behind their creation. This event is not only a collision of ideas and visual expression but also a profound dialogue about the interplay of color, light, and emotion.
